Client required a mobile pumpset that could be easily transported to Airports around the country to recover waste firefighting chemicals from IBC containers. The pump needed to be self-priming, easy to use and must be able to run dry without damage. It also needed to be able to plug into single phase power supply.

Case Study: Whiteoak Grove, Tinwald
This pumpstation in Whiteoak Grove, Tinwald was designed to pump wastewater from 84 houses and designed to the Ashburton DC pumpstation standards. Unfortunately due to the location, there was no gravity connection available.

Pump & Valve were approached by the client as they needed a wastewater pumpstation for their proposed residential development.
Wilden replaces Vortex Pumping Sludge
Pump & Valve were asked to look at replacing a drymount stainless steel centrifugal vortex pumping sludge from a DAF plant, the sludge had a high concentration of sand in it, meaning the existing pumps were needing rebuilding almost every year which was a costly exercise.
Mouvex Eccentric Disc replaces Lobe Pump
Pump & Valve were asked to look at replacing a lobe pump pumping a sugar and gelatine mix that was having constant reliability issues due to the seals failing. Only one pump for this situation – a Mouvex.
Twin Screw Pump for a Dairy Factory
A dairy factory approached Pump & Valve with a requirement to replace an existing lobe pump that was pumping a hot, viscous food grade slurry at medium solids at an above normal pumping pressure.
