The Water New Zealand Conference & Expo 2026 provided an excellent opportunity for the Pump & Valve team to connect with industry professionals, showcase leading technologies, and discuss the evolving challenges facing New Zealand’s water and wastewater sector.
Over several busy days, we welcomed customers, consultants, contractors, and operators to our stand, where we demonstrated a range of innovative pumping, dosing, aeration, and solids-handling solutions designed to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance across water and wastewater applications.

This year’s exhibition featured several of our trusted product ranges, including:

Introducing Wilo to New Zealand
The Expo also provided an opportunity to introduce Wilo to attendees following Pump & Valve’s appointment as the company’s new official New Zealand agent.
Recognised worldwide for its innovative and energy-efficient pumping technology, Wilo offers solutions for water supply, wastewater, and building services applications. Visitors were able to learn more about the Wilo product range and discuss how its smart pumping technologies can support greater efficiency and reliability across a variety of applications.

JWC Muffin Monster™ Live Demonstration Draws a Crowd
The stand’s biggest attraction was undoubtedly the live JWC Environmental Muffin Monster™ demonstration.
Throughout the event, visitors gathered to watch the Muffin Monster tackle a range of challenging solids, providing a hands-on demonstration of its proven performance in wastewater applications. Even when faced with difficult materials, the grinder continued operating smoothly, thanks in part to its reverse-and-reset anti-jam technology, which automatically responds to potential blockages and helps keep systems running.
To further showcase its capabilities, we also conducted side-by-side demonstrations comparing standard single-tooth cutters with the market-leading Wipes Ready™ cutters. The difference in shredding performance was immediately apparent, highlighting how advanced cutter technology can improve solids reduction and provide greater protection for downstream pumps and equipment.
Together, the demonstrations offered a practical reminder of the importance of both anti-jam technology and cutter design in maintaining reliable wastewater operations, reducing maintenance requirements, and minimizing the risk of equipment damage.
