Pump & Valve were asked to provide 2 x pumps for pumping GBT thickened sludge at a large treatment plant in the South Island. GBT thickened sludge is not an easy liquid to pump furthermore the pumps needed to be reliable and offer long service life.
Pump & Valve sold 2 x Roto progressive cavity pumps. These pumps were installed in 2008 and have been in service ever since. As of 2016 no spares have been replaced on the pumps.
