Suncutter Wet-Type Crusher

Description

Nikuni Suncutter Wet-Type Crusher

The Nikuni Suncutter is a compact, high-performance wet-type crusher designed to efficiently cut, crush, and homogenise soft solids and fibrous materials in water or process liquid. By reducing particle size inline, the Suncutter prevents clogging, improves downstream treatment, and reduces overall maintenance in wastewater and industrial process systems.

How it Works

This uses a precision rotor/stator mechanism to shear and cut solids as liquid passes through.
This prevents fibrous waste from forming rag balls or clogging pumps, while homogenising particles into a more manageable slurry. Installed inline, it acts as both a cutter and protector for downstream equipment.

Model Options

  • Multiple sizes for different flows and particle loads.

  • Configurable materials for chemical or abrasive environments.

  • Available in base-mounted or inline pipeline designs.

Nikuni by KTM Official Webpage

  • Inline crushing and mixing – combines pumping with reliable cutting of fibrous or soft solids.

  • Compact, simple design – small footprint, easy integration into existing pipelines.

  • Prevents clogging – reduces rags, fibrous waste, and oversized solids that block pipes and pumps.

  • Homogenises slurry – creates stable particle distribution for better downstream handling.

  • Durable materials – robust wetted parts, built for industrial duty.

  • Low maintenance – simple construction, fewer service requirements compared with separate cutting/milling devices.

  • Municipal & industrial wastewater plants (cutting rags, plastics, fibrous sludge)

  • Food processing wastewater (vegetable/fruit scraps, peelings, fibrous waste)

  • Paper & pulp mills (cutting fibre clumps, reducing rag balls)

  • Textile wastewater (fibres, threads)

  • Chemical process plants (homogenising slurry streams)

  • Any system prone to pump/pipeline clogging from fibrous material.
