Jabsco Lobe Pump Supplied To A Dairy Factory In New Zealand
Dairy Factory in New Zealand
A major dairy factory in New Zealand needed to provide positive inlet pressure to a dosing pump that pumped very precise amounts of a viscous milk product into a process. Because the existing dosing pump did not have positive inlet pressure flows were erratic and the dosing inaccurate.
The issue was that any pump used to provide positive pressure had to have precise pressure control as well as an emergency over-pressure relief valve to ensure that the dosing pump was not over-pressurized.
Pump and Valve supplied a Jabsco Lobe pump complete with an internal relief valve that was speed controlled to a pressure set point. The relief valve was there to catch any pressure spikes that would occur if the speed controller did not react quickly enough.
