Pump & Valve were asked to look at replacing a lobe pump pumping a sugar and gelatine mix that was having constant reliability issues due to the seals failing. Only one pump for this situation – a Mouvex.
Pump & Valve were asked to look at replacing a lobe pump pumping a sugar and gelatine mix that was having constant reliability issues due to the seals failing. Only one pump for this situation – a Mouvex.
The solution was to use a Mouvex eccentric disc pump. These pumps have no mechanical seal, met the hygiene requirements and easily pumped the hot and viscous mix.
